Soğan Sarmısak's first ever cookery classes will be held this September Soğan Sarmısak is embarking on a new journey – hands-on, fun-packed, dynamic and friendly cookery classes with Sevinҁ! This is your chance to learn how to prepare the delicious dishes our guests have been enjoying for more than a decade. You will use recipes from Ottoman Istanbul (handed down from Sevinҁ's great grandmother) and the Aegean. Using fresh local ingredients and extra virgin olive oil, you will prepare simple recipes that somehow produce surprisingly complex tastes. Then, you will sit down with fellow participants and Sevinҁ to enjoy the food, accompanied with Turkish wine, and chat about food, culture, history… Do bring your swimsuit, as there will be time for a swim just before lunch. You can, of course, stay on at the beach for the whole of the afternoon and the evening... |
Our kitchen is really, really small and we have to limit the numbers to six people. So, if you want to have this experience, do book early.
